I’ve always been fascinated with how educators bring gaming into their classrooms and I’m truly looking forward to keeping up with RAG blog latest.

That means so, so much coming from you. I really love your work. This is an exploration. I am no expert, but I think that might make it better…might give it a more objective feel. Please do check back.

Your logo reminds me of the Black Flag logo.

    Which is a good thing.

Here is my vote of support for your work and a very short story from my past.

I am what some people call a fanatical gamer. I will play anything in any style of gaming. I do this because of a teacher; Mr. William ‘Bill’ Bock. He somehow convinced our high school in Oskaloosa, Iowa to let him teach a class called Kriegspiel! This was in 1977 and he had some 30 Avalon Hill games in the classroom. He taught tactics and strategy as well as how to apply them. There were tests and when we finished a game we had to provide an analysis of the battle. We were never allowed to use blame or praise the dice for the out come of a game. There were no RPGs but this was only because they weren’t very available yet.

Because of this I fully support what you are doing. Gaming has had a profound impact on my life and should be allowed, even encouraged.

If not for him I would never have discovered this hobby. Since then I have played miniatures, table-top board, RPGs, LARP, cards and anything else out there. Thank you.

      Chuck,

I cannot tell you how much your comment means to me. I really appreciate it. I hope I have a similar impact on some of my kids. I really hope I do. Thanks so very much for your encouragement.
